Wendy McGrath graduated in 1996 with an Honors degree in Fine Arts from QUT Kelvin Grove, majoring in printmaking. Her art practice is contemporary and multi-disciplinary, including site specific ephemeral installation and photography, drawing, printmaking, artist’s books and Design.

Commissions include Green Art Projects and Sculpture Festivals, including Floating Land, Treeline, Sculpture By The Sea. Exhibitions solo and group, at Qld Regional Galleries, Sunshine Coast University, Pataka Porirua Museum of Arts and Cultures, Wellington NZ, as invited artist  Australian Art Fair Melbourne ,and various commercial galleries with solo and group exhibitions.

Wendy’s current practice has a focus on environmental art, site specific installations, teaching non-toxic print media, with work that looks at the fragility of the natural environment and biomorphism. Mediums include installation, printmaking, drawing, watercolour painting, sculpture and photography.
